· UTStarcom, Hardware Design Engineer 11th July’05 – 3rd August '06 I worked with the Hardware Design Team and my profile included writing Diagnostics Code in C, which sandwiches between the hardware and the Application Layer Code. Project : TDM & Ethernet over STM16 Team Size : 6 Members Description : The project involved developing an aggregator card, which is capable of aggregating TDM and Ethernet data over SDH (STM-16 Rate). My duties included applying patches to the Diagnostics Layer Code for the second re-spin of the card. This involved working on the PowerPC architecture and using the RTEMS RTOS. The development environment used was Cygwin. Project : TDM & Ethernet over STM4 Team Size : 6 Members Description : The project involved developing an aggregator card, which is capable of aggregating TDM and Ethernet data over SDH (STM-4 Rate). My responsibilities included writing APIs(drivers) in C for a new Add Drop Multiplexer chip, developing the Diagnostics Code for the card, and thus working with RTEMS Embedded Operating System on the Cygwin environment. Developed several utilities so as to efficiently verify outputs generated for layouts of hardware boards, by many third-party tools.
